Dr. Chentnik was born and raised in the small, farm town of Centerville, Indiana. She then graduated with distinction from Purdue University with a degree in Biology.
In 2016, she graduated with high honors from Indiana University School of Optometry. During optometry school she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and became a student member of the American Academy of Optometry. Upon graduation, Dr. Chentnik completed a residency in Ocular Disease at the University of Houston College of Optometry. She is glaucoma certified by the State of Texas.
