Dr. Palermo received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from University of Houston, graduating with honors, in 1996. In May 2000, Dr. Palermo graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry, as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and the Academic Dean’s List. He was a recipient of the National Institute of Hispanic Culture. For over ten years, he has been involved with the American Optometric Academy, Texas Optometric Academy and Harris County Optometric Society.
Prior to joining Bellaire Eye & Laser in 2004, Dr. Palermo provided nursing home / assisted living eye care for Mobile Vision Care in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Palermo’s main area of concentration is comprehensive care, eye disease, glaucoma, and dry eyes.
